  CENSUS: 1850 Ohio - Brooklyn, Cuyahoga County There is a mistake in the Brainard-Brainerd Genealogy by Lucy Abigail Brainard regarding Stephen. On the page where he is listed as the son of Nathan, it states that he died in 1857 unmarried. On the page where it list Stephen and his children, it shows two marriages and a death year of 1869.
