  Name Suffix: Sr Name Prefix: Captain [lanastl2.ged] 1. Phineas was an officer in the French War, 1745-1755, and in theRevolutionary War. In 1745 he was a lieutenant on a list of general andstaff officers of French and Indian War rolls. He served as captain inthe Cape Breton Campaign in the war with the French. In 1755 he was acaptain in the 4th Connecticut Regiment at Crown Point and appointedCommissary March 1756. In 1758 he was Commissary of the 8th ConnecticutRegiment. He was Deputy to the General Assembly at New Haven in 1768.
