    • In the 1880 census, there is a niece living with the Isaac Hinckley family named Lulu Gardner, age 9. None of Isaac's sisters married a Gardner, so it might be assumed that Adeline's maiden name is Gardner or a sister of her's married a Gardner. Lulu was born in the Dakota Territory.
