    • She was of Swansee, MA. She was born probably born 1 JUN 1721 and possibly the daughter of John and Susanna (Case) Lake. Her brother James Lake came to Beekman. Barnard and Elsie Carpenter had two children born in Swansea and they later removed to the Dover area of the Beekman Patent. Barner Carpenter was taxed in Beekman from 1759 through 1762
