      LEDYARD - Ann Schramm Thompson, 61, of Paint Mill Drive, died Mondayat her home after a long illness.
      Born in Stonington, March 17, 1924, she was the daughter of Deweyand Gertrude Pierce Schramm.
      She was a member of the Thames River Qstomy Association, and theLedyard Senior Citizens Club.
      She was married to Joseph E. Thompson Dec. 8, 1945.
      Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Earl E. of Prestonand David A. Thompson of Old Mystic; four daughters, Anna M. Reiners andBarbara A. Thompson, both of Ledyard, Betty J. Blocker and Mary Mingola,both of Groton; four brothers, Herman of Old Mystic, Dewey of California,Richard of Groton, and Robert Schramm of Norwich; five sisters, MargaretCollins and Ruth Travena, both of Groton, Christine Hinman of Ledyard,Helen Davis of North Stonington and Elsie Christie of Stonington; andfour grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shea-WilliamsFuneral Home, Mystic. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery there.
      Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
      Donations may be made in her memory to the New London OstomyAssociation, care of Doris Adams, 10 Ford Ave., Norwich.
