  DORIS ANNA MAIN - SEPT 5, 1909 - JUNE 21, 1991 NEW LONDON - Doris Anna Main, 81, of 913 Colonel Ledyard Highway,Ledyard, died yesterday at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in NewLondon. Mrs. Main was born Sept. 5, 1909, in Westerly, RI. She was thedaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheeler. She had lived inLedyard for 52 years. She worked part-time at Holdridge Nursery in Ledyard. Mrs. Main married Timothy Main in Stonington in December of 1938. In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters,Beverly Rogers of Norwich, Katherine Wiezbicki of Plainfield, PeggyCrouch of Springfield, MO.; a brother, Charles Wheeler of Preston; 12grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a nephew and a niece. She waspredeceased by a daughter, Gloria Main; and a grandson FrederickBrellsford. The Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich is incharge of arrangements.
