Administrator from 1 Apr 1634; proprietor, selectman in 1636-1637 to Windsor, CT. One of the undertakers of the ship Hopewell in 1640. Two light windows in the west wall of the tower of Tolland church were installed in 1932 (dedicated 7 Aug 1932) in memory of Henry Wolcott and Elizabeth who left Tolland in 1630 and became founders of the Wolcott family in America, gift of Henry and cora Codman Wolcott of Boston, MA. An inscription states: 'In loving memory. Henry Wolcott. Donor of this window. October 28 1855- July 21 1939.' Gaulden Manor was built in the 12th century.
