      NOTES: He was w/brothers Isaac and Jacob in Williamstown, MA, when they all
      enlisted in the company of Capt. Abiathar Angel on l MAY 1775 for
      3 mo. service. He would seem to have gone with his kinsman, Jonathan
      Meacham to Fair Haven, VT, in 1779, for they wer together in Capt.
      Zadoc Everest's Co., in APR 1781, and with Capt. John Stark in 1780.
      And he was again with him as one of the first settlers of Benson,
      VT, in 1783. In Pawlet census 1790 (1-3-3).
      *He was 1/2 brother to Simeon Meacham of Cass Co., MI
