Info fromObits, Madaline's notes, personal recollections:
      Went to Westminister College,Pennsylvania
Farmed in Delaware Co., NY, near Milford/Milford Center - farm at
      Goodyear Lake
He was a Sheriff of Otsego Co. for 3 years in the early 1930's.
According to Grandma Sweet (his daughter), he was so grossly overweight
that in order for him to be weighed by the doctor, he had to use the
scales at the feed store. [I am not sure if my recollection on this is
correct. It may have been her Grandfather William Southworth, Madaline's
father, who was soobese. Which may be the reason he died so young. I
remember her saying thathe (whichever one it was,) dropped dead
      suddenly. D.Sweet]
Had something todo with the beginnings of IBM. Have not found any
      mention of this anywhere though.
