He was the son of Thomas Sylvester and Anna Spink Griswo ld. Mr. Griswold who worked at the old Guile and Windnagle Basket Factory in Penn Yan, moved to Binghamton about 30 years ago, where he was employed in t he Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory. Heis survived by four children, Howard of Binghamton, Oscar of Spring Arbor, Mich., Albert of Boston and Mrs. Margar et Carlson of Jamestown; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Jeudes of Amsterdam, Mrs. Jean Hall of Ithaca, Mrs. Fred Perkins ofSchenectady and Mrs. Jarvis Putnam of Penn Yan. Funeral services were held in Binghamton Tuesday morning, with burial in Lake View Cemetery, Penn Yan, onTuesday afternoon". (February 9, 2002 LCSS).
