  Charles Price Strong owned a hardware store in New Brunswick, N.J.; apparentlynever married; died 5 August 1893 of Bright's Disease, leaving an estate estimated at between $300,000 and $500,000; buried First Reformed Churchyard, New Brunswick, N.J. He is listed in the 1850 Federal Census, Middlesex Co., NJ, New Brunswick, living at a hotel run by Henry Smith (pg. 259; dwelling 402; Family 43) -- Charles P. Strong, 30, M, Hardware Merchant, b. NJ. In the 1860 Federal Census he is listed on p. 214, dwelling 1397, family 1745. His will,dated 1893is recorded at Trenton (#16486 Middlesex County).
