    • [philandra bishop.FTW]

Charles came to Gaspereau and moved to Shepody, NB. As Charles was a very common name in this family, some confusion has arisen in the identification of the various individuals, and it is possible that this Charles was a sea captain or a blacksmith.{ Theodore H Bishop his nephew stated that his uncle went to Frederickton - told to W VE Boggs aurthor of the Bishop/Boggs Geneology Book. Charles was elected M.P.P. in Frederickton He had a son charles whom he established as a silk merchant in Brooklyn, NY
