  Death certificate shows he was born in Madison, but he was actually born on the farm in Oregon. Egbert F. Hook Funeral Saturday Funeral services for Egbert Franklin Hook, 77, resident of Lincoln for 18 years, who died at his home, 1949 Vine street Thursday morning, will be held at Umberger's chapel at 2:30 p.m., Saturday. Rev. W. P. Hill will officiate. Mr. Hook was born at Madison, Wis., and had been a resident of Nebraska for 35 years. At one time, he farmed in Nemaha county, and later he operated a meat market at Brownville. Surviving are his wife, Matilda; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Anderson of Auburn, Mrs. Joseph Parriott of Elmwood, and Mrs. Ernest Rezac of Lincoln; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
