- Claud Andersons Observe
Sixtieth Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Claud Anderson were pleasantly surprised Sunday, Feb. 28, with an anniversary dinner at the Auburn Hotel planned by their three children, in honor of their sixtieth wedding anniversary which was March 1.
One son, Howard and family of Fort Collins, Colo., were unable to attend due to the weather. Those present were their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Porter, Uehling; son, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Anderson, Des Moines, Iowa; Granddaughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kain, Kayla and Randy, Carlisle, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Christensen, Jon, David and Tom of Fremont. Two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Parriott and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Rezac, Lincoln; a niece, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Boyd, Lincoln; nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Parriott, Elmwood.
Mrs. Ray Kain brought the beautifully decorated anniversary cake.
The Andersons received many lovely cards, gifts and flowers.
