  Notes	Whiting Cemetery location - Take K45 (old highway 75) North from Whiting to 145th Street and turn right. Cemetery is 1 mile down this gravel road on the right side surrounded by pine trees. The cemetery can't be missed as the ground is level and can be seen clearly from far away. 2 1/2 acres of land was deeded to the city of Whiting on May 5 1893 by C. E. and Nancy Whiting. An additional 2 1/2 acres was deeded to the city of Whiting on March 10 1922 by E. M. and Ida Cassady. The last reading of this cemetery was done in April 2002 by Judith Hutchison Volume 4, Page 0406
