  Area Obituaries Hugh McQuade Services for Hugh McQuade, 72, of 209 1/2 Rock St., who died Friday, will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the Nelson-Schneider Funeral Home and at 10 o'clock in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday. He was born July 17, 1898, in Johnstown and lived in Janesville the past five years. Prior to coming here, he was a Beloit resident for more than 40 years. He owned a gas station for more than 20 years and later was employed at Fairbanks, Morse and Co., and the Beloit Daily News. He retired from the Beloit newspaper in 1964. He was married to Venetta Hook July 17, 1923, in Canton, Ohio. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. Survivors are his wife; a son, Warren of Janesville; a daughter, Mrs. Maurine Plautz, Edgerton; eight grandchildren; two brothers, John of St. Paul, Minn., and William of Janesville; a sister, Miss Agnes McQuade, Janesville.
