Notes |
- Found this family on a ship manifest for the Kronprinz Wilhelm which arrived in NYC on 15 Oct 1902 (sailing from Bremen). The family was listed in the EIDB (Ellis Island Data Base) as ROZTRON but is obviously ROZHON when you look at the actual handwriting on the page. The family's last residence is listed as "Blatna". They were on their way to J. Kuskova, 464 W. 18th (Alport) in Chicago, Illinois and were travelling with a sister-in-law, Antonie Kuskova (28 yrs old). J. Kuskova is probably Antonie's husband and the surname probably doesn't end in 'ova' since that is the feminine version. More likely, the name is Kuskov or Kuska. Karel was listed as 31 yrs., Marie as 26 yrs., Marie (daughter) as 2 yrs., and Antonie.
Image of the ship manifest is onfile as Rozhon_Karel_1902_Chicago.gif
