  • Notes
    • Owned property in old Ohio City (Cleveland) on Jay and Rose Streets. This is very near where the West Side Market is now located and close to the "Circle" in Ohio City. Is this the same property that his brother-in-law, Ebenezer Foster, speaks of in his book, "Early Days of the Pioneer's"? Although Ebenezer doesn't mention Almon by name, nor even a "Williams", it isn't hard to imagine that Ebenezer's wife (Almon's sister) visited him and that could have given Ebenezer the idea to buy property in the vicinity.
