- 1. Albert is a Mayflower descendant (John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley)and a Son of the American Revolution (SAR) (Samuel Chesebrough,1743-1811).
2. "The Christian Intelligencer" clipping ca July 1888 article reads:
"CHESEBRO. -- Albert Chesebro, June 21, 1888, in Jersey City, NJ
At a meeting of the Consistory of the Greenville Reformed Church ofJersey City, NJ., July 3, 1888, the following resolutions were unanimously
adopted in memory of the late Albert Chesebro.
Whereas, Although God in His wise Providence has removed from ournumber Elder Albert Chesebro, therefore be it
Resolved, That we hereby record our high appreciation of his loveand faithful service in the Church of God. As a man he was a shining
light in the community; as an elder he is worthy of double honor.
Resolved, That while bowing in submission to a kind heavenly Father,we shall cherish the memory of his quiet, consistent, Christian life,
and shall be inspired by it until we shall meet him in the GeneralAssembly and Church of the First-born, whose names are written in heaven.
Resolved, That we extend to the bereaved family and mourning friendsour warmest sympathies, ever praying that the Comforter will abide
with them forever.
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bereavedwidow, and that they be published in THE CHRISTIAN INTELLIGENCER.

3. Albert was a carpenter by trade and owner of "Chesebrough RoofingCompany" in New York City in the 1860's. He was listed in the 1869 NewYork City telephone book:
