      DEATH:
      GRODZIK JULIUS
      County: CUYAHOGA
      Date of Death: 9/27/1926
Volume Number: 5143 Certificate Number: 55174
Died from a skull fracture suffered in an auto accident. As a result of his death, their son Bruno was an orphan (his mother having died just one year earlier of Peritonitis). He first lived with Vincent Wanicki but then went to live with Anthony Czacherski and his wife, who had no children and since they owned a farm, Bruno would come in handy as a farmer. How the Czacherski's know Julius or Petronella is unclear. Perhaps they were neighbors or co-workers? The death certificate shows that Julius worked at Farrow Metal Co.. Anthony Czacherski's brother, Frank, worked at Ferrow Enameling. Chances are those are one and the same companies and Frank was instrumental in getting Bruno placed with his brother, Anthony. This is especially relevant because Bruno was said to have lived with the Piotrowski family for awhile and Frank's in-laws were Piotrowski's.
