Born Feb. 17, 1942, in Chicago, he was the son of Frank R. and Helen B. Javorsky Rozhon.
He was an Army veteran, serving from 1959 until 1962. He worked at the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Railroad Shops in West Burlington for 27 years, retiring in 2002. He was a member of SS. John and Paul Catholic Church and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, camping and hunting.
Survivors include one son, Thomas C. Rozhon of Cincinnati, Ohio; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Dorothy Jensen of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Ruth Galleher of Orland Park, Ill.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. A Christian Wake service will be at 6 p.m. Friends also may call 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church.
The funeral for Mr. Rozhon will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick Hilgendorf will be the celebrant. The Des Moines County Resurrection Choir will provide music. According to Mr. Rozhon's wishes, cremation will be accorded.
A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Adrienne A. Tomaszewski, 20, a lifelong Brighton Park resident, died Sunday in a car accident. A graduate of Maria High School, she had just taken the state test to become a certified nursing assistant. She had been working as a nursing assistant at the Manor Health Care retirement home in Hinsdale. Survivors include her mother, Kathleen Rozhon; her father, Ronald Tomaszewski; a brother, Ron; and two sisters, Connie Brown and Justine Groveau. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Fortuna Brothers Funeral Home, 4401 S. Kedzie Ave., Chicago. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Five Holy Martyrs Catholic Church, 2905 W. Pope John Paul II Drive, Chicago
