This publication traces the descendants of various Parke and Parks families that settled in Connecticut prior to the Revolution. Ten generations of descendants of Robert Parke are given; he came to New England from Preston, England, in 1630 with his family. Eight generations of descendants of Edward Parks are listed; he first appears in the records of Guilford Connecticut about 1670. Also mentioned are descendants of Peter Park, a native of Scotland who married Lucy McDowell at Stonington CT in 1748. A further section lists a variety of information about miscellaneous other Park, Parke, and Parkes, whose complete ancestry has not been traced.
