Post-1906 name:

West 13th Street

Between Redman Avenue and Denison Avenue

Street Dedicated to the City of Cleveland:

Nov 4, 1895

Ebenezer Foster

Named for:

The eastward facing view afforded a lookout over the Cuyahoga River and beyond to Newburgh Township.

This street had a confectionary store owned by Tillie Kuczek, a butcher shop owned by Jacob Sidlowski, a bar, Wincek Dairy and Cuyahoga Dairy, and another unidentified meat market that was originally owned by butcher, Ludwig Kapusta and then by Star Producing in 1914. A surprising number of businesses for a residential street this short.
